Ariake Sangyo is the only independent cooperage in Japan with 50 years of experience in the industry since establishment. We produce and supply oak barrel mainly to Japanese shochu distilleries and whisky distilleries in Japan.

Cask-aged shochu is a hidden treasure that should be marketed and enjoyed on a much wider scale locally and overseas. Spirits enthusiasts need to be aware of this gem and be given an opportunity to enjoy it. Tarusky was born to carry on our mission of introducing this exceptional and authentic oak-aged Japanese shochu to the world.

Utilizing our knowledge and understanding of wood and spirits, we decided to establish a new project to promote and bring more value to shochu, the country’s most popular distilled spirit.
